ACADEMIE THERA

"The Tree that is Beside the Running Water is Fresher and gives More Fruit" - St. Theresa of Avila.

Although the western world only rediscovered the raw plant food healing which originated in Ancient Greece, in the 19th century, there were many texts and recipes kept in religious orders and monasteries  for making herbal brews and health wines etc which indicate there was knowledge that the herbal approach was also part of, or had once been part of, their spiritual tradition.

Earliest records of the raw plant food approach go back to the 'father of modern medicine' Hippocrates who said 'First Do No Harm'.  Harmlessness was the basis of this natural health and longevity system - as medicine should be today.  It continued through the generations which followed the original 'Therapeutic Healers' though mostly they are known as dating from around 500 BCE.

Their origins clearly stretched back long before that time, with books and texts known in 500 BCE but from a much earlier time which covered knowledge on geometry, music in 5/4 time, and texts so old they are considered legends, but which described machines in boats which could communicate with people elsewhere, and hospitals which had surgery and knew the importance of a sterile environment.

Their advanced status existed at least 5,000 years ago - there are wall paintings and buildings found on the island of Thera archeologically dated as such - and they had many records, books and texts, some of which were kept in the Library of Alexandria.  These included records like those about the existence of Atlantis.

Certainly these Greek sources had far more ancient information than what became attributed to the 500 BC time frame - which makes their knowledge of Herbs, Oils, and a raw Plant Based Diet for Healing interesting, but particularly because of the additional knowledge of which these aspects were the introductory level.

Natural Plant Based Healing and Health, and Vegetarian, Vegan-Friendly Diets are the most known part of the ancient system for 'healing' which survived through to today, and made famous by the tireless work of people like Ann Wigmore who used the juices of green grasses.  It covers the healing power of fresh, organic, plant foods and herbs, raw plant foods and juices for therapeutic use, fasting, probiotics, 'manna' and also nuts and nut oils, and especially the healthy omegas, such as flax and chia, which are now known as essential for the well being and maintenance of the body.

The knowledge began to be revived within the Christic traditions, by a  number of breakaway groups after unnamed ancient texts were found in the 19th century. These ancient health texts began with how to live by the wisdom of a healthy diet made up of holistic, organic, fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs for healing.

Another version of this teaching was from scrolls found in the Vatican Archives in the early 20th century, for which we use the name they were known by in Egypt, as communities of Greek origin, which was Therapeutae.  There is certainly a 'cover up' of identities in the events during the 1,500 BCE time period in history.

Wonderful as the Plant Based Healing and Lifestyle consciousness is, there was much more to this entire system of knowledge which deserves recognition.

While the Natural Plant Based Healing and Health remained the teaching that was known, that same Teaching also covered knowledge of the 'Ocean of Love and Living Energy' (the wellspring), the Life Streams, the Light Streams, and the Sound Streams which flowed from that 'Ocean' - which is the source of the 'running water'. The access to this paradise was lost when this planet 'fell' from its place on the 'blueprint' - but the 'tree' which stands beside it was in that paradise, and is certainly the best 'tree'.

Knowledge of a Higher Level continued secretly, which is as it had to be because of persecution after being dispersed from the general area and going to Turkey, Persia and Afghanistan (not India).  Here again, the knowledge continued, yet not necessarily with the dietary and therapy side.

What continued were the more important additional levels of the practices relating to the soul and avoiding ongoing rebirth into this repeating 'beginning and ending movie reality' and some of the history information did also survive and continue, but definitely all remained as a hidden teaching that covered astronomy and usually was carried forward hidden in verse form.

Olive Oil - rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, is a major component of the Mediterranean diet. Populations from that region have longer life expectancies and lower risks of heart disease, high blood pressure and stroke, compared with North Americans and Northern Europeans

Evening Primrose - rich in essential fatty acids including gamma linolenic acid (GLA) which help with hormone balance and digestion.

Borage -  contains the fatty acid gamma linolenic acid (GLA). shown to have anti-inflammatory effects and help with hormone balance.

Coconut - contains Lauric acid. A recent study found this active anti-cancer component in coconut oil kills over 90% of the colon cancer cells after just two days of treatment.
