It isn't just creating people who seem real, and robotics isn't just about how amusing it is that now weird and creepy men can have relationships with very life-like looking performing female robots. There is a reality that AI is about to connect all systems and move beyond everything that real people can do. 'Tilly Norwood' is definitely chilling.
Surely most of the recent Hollywood and Marvel type blockbuster films have mostly been generated and produced by AI. There may be questions about whether some celebrities are real people. Even if you look at the apps for sale for content creators, these all provide instant faked realities and editing. Even 'clean beauty' influencer faked looks.
When you see an online ad for 'getting AI certified', how much does it really take to work AI?! They show an 'out of touch older person' (one age given was 38 but this bs training is for 'people over 40') being eclipsed by a 'young person' who can produce a report in a few hours that would normally take days of research. What kind of boss would be impressed by this if they know about Claude etc, - and what high level boss would not already know about it? Why bother employing even the AI certified person, when the CEO could do this stuff themselves and not need to pay for any staff?
