NEW Gipsy Kings - Live at The Royal Albert Hall in London

This is the feature song 00:47:49 - Bamboléo

00:01:43 - Tristessa Gipsy Kings.

Acoustic guitar. This group was/is very good. Certainly up top of the list. Full show. Sensational. Same venue as for 'Black Night'. This is a posh venue - a posh audience. * I did classes to learn Flamenco dancing - love it. This would be a gypsy flamenco. The Gipsy Kings are absolutely sensational. I would like to dance to this!

Seems original members started their own bands of 'Gipsy Kings' each one handing it on to his own sons, so there are a lot of different people now under that name. The originals were sons and the cousins of the sons, of Jose Reyes who worked with famous Spanish guitarist Manitas de Plata.

Gipsy Kings.

NEW Tommy Emmanuel Classical Gas

Best Version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lGJTkcpmWI

Acoustic guitar. Considered one of the best acoustic guitarists in the world.

This is a great 'Superjam' with big names from various bands.

NEW Black Night

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aF--clMvNFc

This is what real musicians do. You gotta play, just like you gotta dance. Brian May is from Queen. John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin. Bruce the singer from Iron Maiden. Ian Paice is from Deep Purple, this is a Deep Purple song. And Brian Auger. All Brits. This is showbiz!

NEW Kashmir

This was my always favourite Led Zeppelin, and mostly all I knew. I had never seen them play live until December 2022. This is fairly recent, well it's 2007, and obviously they are older. I prefer the 'Oooh oooh yeah yeahs on the studo recording. This show was in 2007 and released on video in 2012.

NEW Paranoid

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cen1SvpTsYk It's okay! Birmingham, UK 2012.

(Apart from the swearing.) I think it spoils the performance. This is a small audience, below there is a clip with a massive audience in 2013. Not going to feature them with their own page, they went too far with their 'Industry Deal' which requires songs about fear and death and for some, as satanic as possible - no artist gets real work if they don't make the deal. The metal we have used is quite mild, nothing demonic.

Iron Maiden - Fear Of The Dark

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PDMtqejNfs Really, Iron Maiden are quite funny. Its not dark heavy metal. Head banging audience! Filmed in Rio 2015. Massive audiences!

Not my favourite music but sometimes its just the right thing to listen to. 'Fear of the Dark' is one of their biggest hits.

Iron Maiden - The Trooper

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QEb0iZ9uxc Fast and Loud. More recent version.

Head banging audience as usual. I like Iron Maiden, they are fun. They are British and the British don't take themselves so seriously, like Americans do.

The writer Steve Harris bases a lot of his songs on historic events or characters. This is based on the poem by Alfred, Lord Tennyson "The Charge of the Light Brigade" which is an 1854 narrative poem, about the Charge of the Light Brigade at the Battle of Balaclava during the Crimean War.

I am now listening to Black Sabbath for the first time ever. Never knew who 'Ossy Osbourne' was!

Paranoid

With much bigger audience in South America https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xQgNTF7SXg December 2013

Not good sound, but gets the feel of a big, live rock show.

NEW Here is another jam 'Smoke on the Water' originally by Deep Purple, but this is a benefit for an earthquake that happened in Armenia and has a lot of big names playing.
